School on Internet Governance (SIG)

After the successful third Mauritius SIG in 2023, the Mauritius SIG is proud to announce its fourth (4th) program scheduled from 30th March to 4th May 2024. The Mauritius SIG continues to serve as a dynamic capacity-building initiative, designed to offer individuals from all walks of life the opportunity to acquire essential skills for active participation in the digital world and to promote young people and children’s protection.

The upcoming program welcomes participation from professionals and graduate students, with a primary focus on individuals residing in the Southern African region and neighbouring Indian Ocean Island States. In collaboration with top-notch industry experts, the Mauritius Internet Governance Forum (IGF) is committed to ensuring the seamless execution of the program, featuring a distinguished panel of experts from both private and governmental institutions.

Applications are now open for both national and international participants.

Fees

Selected individuals will not be required to pay any enrollment fees.

Involvement

Participants in the SIG 2024 program will have the opportunity to attend the Mauritius IGF, where pertinent topics will be addressed.
