GDD Mauritius at the Africa Regional Volunteering Conference

Halley Movement, Good Deeds Day (GDD Mauritius), participated at the GDD Africa Regional Conference in Zimbabwe. The Conference united GDD leaders and volunteers across the continent.
The Event fosters discussions, knowledge-sharing, and strategic partnerships, focusing on network expansion, measuring volunteer contributions, and tackling challenges.
The conference theme was “Inclusive Volunteering for a Peaceful, Equitable and Sustainable Development – Leaving No One and No Place Behind”
Good Deeds Day in Mauritius is a vibrant celebration of kindness and community service, organised under the Halley Movement Coalition.
In 2025, Good Deeds Day in Mauritius took place on April 5th. The event brought together people from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and communities to make a positive impact. This year’s focus was on raising awareness about Internet Governance and fostering digital trust, with a special emphasis on AI, cybersecurity, and digital trust for young users.
