Mauritius Internet Governance Forum 2019

The event gathered Key State and Non-State speakers from the fields of Internet governance and child protection across Mauritius. IGF 2019 grouped a selected audience of experts coming from the corporate sector, the IT industry, the police force, academia, civil society and the media. A vast range of ideas and solutions were discussed for online protection.

With families around Mauritius tuning in on the live broadcast on social media, it was an event that addressed the deep concerns of the home front and highlighted key areas in which the online safety of the Mauritian child can be established and sustained.
