Mauritius School on Internet Governance
Theme: Empowering a Safer and Efficient Digital Environment in Mauritius for the Protection of Young People and Children

The Mauritius School of Internet Governance (MSIG) Forum is a multi‑stakeholder initiative dedicated to strengthening digital governance knowledge and fostering responsible online participation in Mauritius.
The Forum will bring together policymakers, educators, industry leaders, civil society, parents, youth representatives, and digital experts to address critical issues impacting children and young people in the digital space.
The event aims to:
- Promote safe, inclusive, and rights‑respecting use of digital technologies
- Strengthen awareness around online risks, digital wellbeing, and cyber resilience
- Encourage collaborative approaches to internet governance and child online protection
- Equip participants with practical knowledge to build a secure and sustainable digital future
Through interactive discussions, expert sessions, and capacity‑building workshops, the MSIG Forum seeks to empower stakeholders to contribute actively to a safer, more efficient, and child‑centred digital environment in Mauritius
