Training

Engage in training individuals and community with the necessary tools to enhance their capacity to address societal issues and contribute to positive change. By providing education, technical assistance, and support, civil society training empowers communities to actively participate in decision-making processes, advocate for their rights, and implement sustainable development initiatives.

Training

Training has played a vital role in the successful implementation of the organisation’s community-based programs. Our comprehensive training initiatives, typically lasting a minimum of three days, cover a wide range of critical areas, including child abuse prevention, volunteerism and community engagement, intergenerational approaches to child welfare, child safety online, youth entrepreneurship education, and teaching marginalised children, among others.

Many of these training programs have been made possible through the generous support of international partners, including foreign trainers from embassies and institutions based in Mauritius. Notable supporters have included the Australian High Commission, the British High Commission, the Israeli Embassy, and various South African organisations. Additionally, global agencies such as UNDP, UNICEF, and the Commonwealth of Nations (COI) have contributed to some of our key training initiatives.
