The Mauritius School on Internet Governance is dedicated to providing individuals from diverse sectors and backgrounds with the essential skills and knowledge needed to engage effectively in Internet Governance discussions at local, national, regional, and international levels.
The mission is to empower participants to actively contribute to shaping the future of the Internet through informed, impactful participation in governance processes.

The Mauritius School on Internet Governance (SIG) 2023 was officially launched by H.E. Mr. Marie Cyril Eddy Boissézon, G.O.S.K., Acting President of Mauritius. The event was attended by distinguished guests, including the UNDP Representative in Mauritius, AFRINIC representatives, and other prominent personalities.
In 2023, the Mauritius SIG marked its third edition, organised by the Halley Movement Coalition, which is affiliated with the UN Internet Governance Forum (IGF). This initiative continues to provide a unique platform for learners from Mauritius and the Indian Ocean Islands to engage with and contribute to global Internet governance discussions.
