Job Title: Secretary / Administrative Assistant

Port Louis, Mauritius | Full Time | 

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and service-minded individual to provide administrative support to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily office operations, handling correspondence, and ensuring seamless communication within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mail and Correspondence Management: Handle incoming and outgoing mail, manage general correspondence including letters, faxes, and emails.
  • Telephone Liaison: Direct and handle inbound and outbound calls on behalf of the team.
  • Document Preparation: Type reports, letters, and faxes with high accuracy.
  • File Management: Create and close files, maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems, and perform archiving and document scanning tasks.
  • Office Coordination: Coordinate diaries, meetings, travel arrangements, and conference calls efficiently.
  • Confidentiality: Discreetly handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Flexibility: Undertake additional duties as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualifications: Secretarial qualification or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Language Skills: Good command of English and French (speaking and writing).
  • Personal Attributes: Service-minded, strong attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Work Style: Ability to multitask, work independently with minimal direction, and be a strong team player.
  • Professionalism: Diplomatic, professional, and discreet in handling sensitive information.
