Job Summary:

Halley Movement is seeking compassionate Counsellors and Supervisors to provide online counselling services for children and young people in Mauritius & Rodrigues.

Candidate Requirements:

Education:

• A first degree in a relevant field is required. Ideal candidates will have a background in Social Work, Psychology, Law, or any related discipline.
• IT literacy is essential for this role.

Experience:

• While prior experience is not mandatory as training will be provided, experience in working with children and young people is highly desirable.

Language Skills:

• Strong communication skills in written and spoken French, English, and Creole are required.

Other Qualities:

• Applicants should demonstrate a passion for working within the community, with a particular focus on child protection and children’s rights.
