Helpline Service
In today’s fast-paced and interconnected world, communities face a myriad of challenges, ranging from mental health issues, relationship problems, financial stress, and personal crises.
Access to professional counselling services can play a crucial role in addressing these challenges, promoting well-being, and fostering stronger, healthier communities. A counselling service tailored to the needs of the community can become a pillar of support, offering guidance, empathy, and hope to individuals in their times of need.
Helpline Service
Halley Movement started a Helpline Counselling Service which was in-person counselling & telephone-based. This service for the community was operational since 1990 when families in need of help would call in.
With the technology nowadays the Helpline Service has moved online and eliminates barriers by allowing families or children to get help from the comfort and privacy of their own homes or anywhere they have an internet connection.
Helpline Mauritius.org
With Helpline Mauritius, the online counselling portal, the NGO wants to be reachable to children and give them a channel to talk with an online counsellor in a discreet, accessible way, confidential and in private.
