Intergeneration Project

Following a Research Study carried in Mauritius and in the Indian Ocean islands, it was revealed that elderly persons can contribute in various ways in solving problems linked to the family. While the Research outcome shows that elderly and young persons rarely work in concert in community, Halley Movement started a series of workshops and conferences on Intergeneration.

Basic School To Adolescents

The BETA Program aims at providing functional literacy, computer courses and numeracy to primary school dropouts.
The Program represents a second chance for these “out of school youths” to learn to read and write and acquire some essential skills which can be useful in their life. The curriculum has been designed in such a way as to include six different learning areas.
